Job Description

We are currently partnering with clients in Melbourne to find Venue Operations Officers with proven experience in the sporting and/or stadium industry. As a Venue Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and management of a sports stadium. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing event logistics, and ensuring the stadium is in top condition for all events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring all logistics are in place, from setup to breakdown.
  • Ensure the stadium is well-maintained, coordinating with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
  • Implement and monitor safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of all attendees, staff, and participants.
  • Manage and coordinate with stadium staff, including security, ushers, ticketing personnel, and cleaners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns from guests promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products required for events.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in venue operations, event management, or a related role within the sports or entertainment industry.
