About the Role

Australian Distilling Company is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the daily operations of our soon-to-open venue in the Melbourne CBD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to establish best practice systems and processes for the venue
  • Manage and complete operational duties, including rostering, forecasting, inventory management, and reporting
  • Ensure the venue operates seamlessly, providing guests with an exceptional experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure the venue meets all relevant compliance and legislative requirements
  • Drive sales to meet set targets and budgets while closely managing operational costs
  • Onboard, develop, and manage the team with hands-on leadership
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Venue Management experience
  • Focused, driven, and motivated individual
  • A desire to learn and adapt to the organisation's culture
  • A proven ability to achieve objectives and demonstrate actual results
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
