About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at O'Brien Glass Industries Limited. As a key member of our network growth team, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing new franchisee opportunities within our Electrical and Plumbing Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement prospect acquisition strategies for lead generation
  • Create and implement structured plans to achieve set targets
  • Undertake cold calling & prospect meetings, ensuring that contact targets are regularly met
  • Successfully manage the acquisition process: lead generation, solution pitch, relationship expansion, negotiation & close

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales/account manager or BDM position, with a focus on new business growth
  • Proven success identifying and implementing prospect acquisition strategies for lead generation
  • Highly developed relationship building and engagement abilities
  • Resilience, focus and ability to self-motivate and prioritise workloads
  • Hunters mentality and focussed on creating new opportunities
