Job Role: Pregnancy Care Advocate
">The Pregnancy Connect Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in promoting access to pregnancy care services within the northern sector of the Hunter New England Local Health District.
">This is an exciting opportunity to work flexibly across the district and collaborate with a diverse team of maternity experts to oversee safety and quality of maternity services.
">As a conduit between maternity services and the community, you will connect vulnerable women to pregnancy care providers and oversee maternal transfers within the district.
">- Advocate for women to access pregnancy care services
- Connect vulnerable women to pregnancy care providers
- Oversee maternal transfers within the district
- Engage with women who face challenges in accessing maternity services
- Lead with strong communication and problem-solving skills
This role requires a registered midwife with a minimum of three years full-time equivalent post-midwifery qualification experience. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a current New Zealand passport.
