Job Overview

We are seeking a registered midwife to provide high-quality, woman-centered care in accordance with the National Competency Standards for the Midwife.

The role involves working across various areas of the hospital, including antenatal clinics, birth unit, maternity unit and midwifery in the home. You will have the opportunity to rotate through different areas of the hospital, managing a caseload of women.

  • Provide effective, evidence-based midwifery care to women during pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal periods.
  • Work closely with obstetric, medical and other staff as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practice.
