The Pregnancy Family Meeting Coordinator role offers a challenging and rewarding experience in managing a program that supports vulnerable families.
About the Role:
- This position involves coordinating and overseeing Pregnancy Family Meetings, ensuring their effective implementation and evaluation.
- You will work closely with a Vulnerable Families Coordinator to achieve the program's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Pregnancy Family Meeting program, including coordination and oversight of meetings.
- Develop and maintain a team of skilled facilitators, selecting and training new members as needed.
- Operate the PFM Facilitator positions, providing support and guidance when required.
- Facilitate Pregnancy Family Meetings as necessary, utilizing your expertise to ensure their success.
- Contribute to partnership development and maintenance, both internally and externally, to enhance the program's impact.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, social science, or a related field are essential.
- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers or full registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
- Proven experience in delivering health services to at-risk children, young people, and their families is crucial.
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection policies and practices, as well as the needs of children and young people in out-of-home care, is vital.
- Experience in providing supervision, mentoring, training, and expertise in facilitating pregnancy family meetings is highly desirable.
