Key Responsibilities

The Market Performance Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and financial performance of Qantas' portfolio of markets within the network.

  • Determine market financial targets and develop revenue management initiatives to drive competitiveness and success.
  • Support long-term pricing and inventory opportunities for assigned route groups, leveraging detailed business cases and financial analysis.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Aviation Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong airline commercial acumen, passion for the aviation industry, and understanding of demand, revenue, and cost drivers.
  • Advanced analytical, reporting, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with ability to present and influence outcomes.
