Advanced Oncology Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Oncology Care Specialist to join our Day Therapy Unit on a part-time basis with flexible hours.

The ideal candidate will possess sound clinical skills, a strong interest in cancer care, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.

Key responsibilities include providing evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring patient and staff safety, delivering education and support, and managing complex treatments such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Essential criteria for this role include current registration with AHPRA, working with children check, experience working in oncology and haematology, and competency in PICC, PORT, IV cannulation, and phlebotomy skills.
