The City of Mandurah Recreation Centres is on the lookout for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Swim School team at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

We seek candidates who have a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and are dedicated to delivering high-quality Learn-to-Swim programs for infants aged 6 months to 4 years and beyond, all within a safe, welcoming, and professional atmosphere.

Key qualifications and skills required:

  • AUSTSWIM or equivalent teaching credentials or Royal Life Saving Society Teachers (RLSS) Certificate
  • AUSTSWIM or equivalent qualification in Infant Aquatics (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in swim instruction or teaching
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • RLSS Resuscitation Certificate
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (must hold or be willing to obtain)
  • Current RLSS Bronze Medallion (must hold or be willing to obtain)
  • Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months) and Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)

Availability for weekday morning and afternoon shifts, as well as weekend morning shifts, is essential.

Compensation for part-time roles starts at - per hour, with casual rates at - per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, plus applicable weekend loadings.
