Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust credit risk model governance framework. This role involves ongoing monitoring of credit risk models to ensure best practice risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular reviews of credit risk models to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in credit risk management.
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements, such as APRA's Data Management Framework.
  • Facilitate regular credit risk model monitoring forums and reviews.
  • Enhance the model monitoring framework using tools like BitBucket and Tableau.
  • Coordinate data transitions between environments.
  • Identify and address risk issues and recommend remedial action.
  • Support APRA annual IRB validation by delivering data requests and analysis.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • 3+ years experience in credit risk analytics/management, with expertise in data management and business portfolios.
  • Understanding of analytics, models, and data for effective credit risk management.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process enhancement using statistical models and tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantitative, Actuarial, Statistics, or equivalent business experience.
  • Technical proficiency in SAS programming, SQL, R, Excel with VBA, Word, PowerPoint, Bitbucket, and Tableau.
