Your Role
Step into a key role where you'll help shape and strengthen risk governance across our Distribution division. As a Risk Governance Specialist, you'll play a vital part in uplifting risk maturity and ensuring our control environment is robust, aligned with regulatory expectations, and supports the delivery of strategic and operational outcomes. Your work will help us consistently deliver service excellence to our customers and stakeholders, while enabling effective risk management across Distribution portfolios, channels, and partners.

This is a permanent role with flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia. 

About You

•    Proven experience in Risk Management, Assurance, and Governance

•    Solid understanding of general insurance products and operations

•    Demonstrated project or people leadership to represent business units and coordinate team activities

•    Ability to execute plans and deliver measurable benefits

•    Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels

•    Skilled at building and leveraging relationships across all levels of the organisation

•    Experience using risk systems such as ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence 

•    Strong data analytics and reporting skills (highly desirable)
