About the Role

We are seeking a skilled journalist to join our team as a Casual Journalist for our Arabic TV News bulletin. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse and innovative media organization, producing high-quality content for a multicultural audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, arrange, and report on news content relevant to the Arabic-speaking community in Australia.
  • Work on a range of television reporting and production tasks, including researching, writing, and editing news stories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders and experts.
  • Meet strict deadlines and work under pressure to deliver high-quality content.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and broadcast standard Arabic.

  • Demonstrated experience in journalism, including broadcast reporting and content creation.
  • Practical experience with digital media editing and production software.
