About the Role

SBS is seeking an experienced Supervising & Planning Producer to join our Arabic TV News team.

  • Lead Content Planning: Develop and implement content plans for Arabic TV News bulletins, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and informative content that meets the needs of Arabic-speaking audiences in Australia.
  • Supervise Content Delivery: Oversee the production and delivery of Arabic TV News bulletins, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant content that meets editorial standards.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the Executive Producer, producers, and other team members to achieve content goals, develop workflows, and resolve any issues that may arise.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in journalism, broadcast production, and content planning. You should have:

  • Proficiency in Arabic: Excellent written and spoken Arabic skills, with the ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the language and its nuances.
  • Journalism Experience: Proven experience in professional journalism, with a strong track record of producing high-quality content under tight deadlines.
  • Content Planning: Strong content planning and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective content strategies.
  • Broadcast Experience: Significant experience in broadcast production, with a strong understanding of television news production, including scriptwriting, vision control, and sound design.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
