About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced journalist to join our team as a casual news broadcaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting on news and current events in Arabic, with a focus on the Australian community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Arabic-speaking community in Australia and the ability to produce high-quality news content in Arabic. They will also have experience in broadcast reporting and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

As a casual news broadcaster, you will be working on a variety of projects, including news bulletins, feature stories, and other content. You will be responsible for researching and writing articles, as well as conducting interviews and gathering information.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about journalism and has a strong commitment to producing high-quality content. If you are a skilled and experienced journalist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report on news and current events in Arabic
  • Produce high-quality news content in Arabic

Requirements

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and broadcast standard Arabic

  • Demonstrated computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and digital media editing/production software
