About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Consultant to join our team at Kennedy Reid. As a Claims Consultant, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and supporting initiatives related to the evaluation, processing, and handling of insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to your allocating Assessor
- Assist with reports
- Review claims to ensure invoicing requirements are met, update accounts as necessary, and answer inquiries
- Review and manage a portfolio of claims
- Make outbound and inbound phone calls
- Respond to claim inquiries and resolve queries
- Manage a database
Requirements
- Previous experience in a call centre/customer service environment is required
- Insurance/claims experience is highly regarded
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
- Skills in problem solving, time management, and interpersonal relationships
