About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. As the first point of contact for our clients and customers, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and systems related to customer service and sales
  • Manage appointment enquiries for field staff and participants
  • Provide information and advice on employment services to job seekers, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Discuss and resolve compliance issues with participants
  • Perform administrative tasks to support overall operations
  • Provide post-placement support to job seekers and employers

Requirements:

  • Qualification in business/customer service or similar (preferred)
  • Previous experience in Employment Services, Jobactive/Workforce Australia, Community Services, Sales, or Call Centre (advantageous)
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence and converse with diverse groups
  • Passion for helping people and making a difference in the community
  • Highly developed administration and organisational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases
