Your Impact...

We've spent years perfecting a groundbreaking product that's revolutionizing banking. As a Business Development Representative, you'll have the opportunity to spread the word about Weel to the masses as we reinvent spend management software.

You'll join a close-knit team, working alongside a world-class BDR Leader with extensive experience in sales development. We prioritize 121 coaching and development – bring the right mindset, and we'll meet you halfway.

You'll assess prospects' needs, pain points, and fit for Weel's product, providing valuable insights into the benefits we offer businesses big and small.

This role offers significant opportunities for both personal and professional growth. You'll develop new techniques, enhance your sales skills, gain in-depth knowledge of the product, and step into one of the world's most dynamic and rapidly evolving industries.

Interestingly, the Australian fintech industry has grown from $250 million in 2015 to a staggering $45 billion in 2023.

A Day in the Life...

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting outbound prospecting activities and driving opportunities through effective pipeline management.
  • Working towards a monthly quota to generate quality leads contributing to our growth acquisition target.
  • Partnering with Account Executive peers to strive for quality qualification, providing insights to increase conversion rates.
  • Providing input and feedback to lead campaigns and sales messaging.
  • SOURCING, RESEARCHING AND NURURING LEADS – using various prospecting tools and lists.
  • Recording leads and interaction data using HubSpot CRM.
  • Setting yourself up for a promotion to other roles in the Sales Team.
  • Having fun with your team – celebrating each other and enjoying the growing benefits Weel has to offer.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience within a sales role – understanding resilience and the importance of a solid work ethic.
  • Experience with cold calling and email outbound sales.
  • CRM experience and preferably Hubspot (though not essential).
