Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Account Manager to drive the commercial health of our business in Australia. As a pioneer in this market, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales and margin targets on all customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target key retail and supermarket chains for product distribution, develop strategic sales plans to achieve market penetration and sales growth, and build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Manage end-to-end sales processes, including new customer acquisition, negotiations, contract management, and closing deals to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Liaise with NPD managers to actively participate in new product development and launch based on customer requirements and insights gathered on the ground.
About You
  • You possess a Bachelor's or Honors' Degree in Food Science, Business Management, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in senior commercial roles preferably in FMCG, food retail, or food manufacturing.
  • A proven track record of selling into supermarkets and retail chains, with an established network within this segment in Australia is highly preferred.
  • You possess strong P&L management skills with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and entrepreneurial team, driving business growth and innovation in the Australian market.
