Facilities Coordinator

Job Description

The role is focused on overseeing the launch and resourcing of upgraded aquatic and dry-side facilities. The successful candidate will have a strategic approach to leading operations and planning for our leisure centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for aquatics, gym, and dry-side facilities management.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff ahead of the Aquatic Redevelopment opening.
  • Create comprehensive operational plans for the newly developed facilities.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Drive strategic planning, financial performance, and community engagement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Recreation Management, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a senior role in recreation/aquatics.
  • WA C class driver's licence, Senior First Aid, and Swimming Pool Operators certificate.
  • Proven skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and facility coordination.
  • Strong leadership, team development, and customer service capabilities.
