As a pivotal leader in our leisure centre, you will play a key role in guiding operations and strategic planning. With the upcoming Aquatic Redevelopment Project, we are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the launch and resourcing of upgraded aquatic and dry-side facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the Request for Quote (RFQ) process for a new Leisure Management Software System.
  • Craft workforce plans and recruit/train staff ahead of the Aquatic Redevelopment opening.
  • Establish a Year One Business Plan for aquatic operations, outlining key objectives and performance metrics.
  • Oversee daily operations of aquatics, gym, and dry-side facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Drive strategic planning, financial performance, and community engagement initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Recreation Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a senior role in recreation/aquatics.
  • WA C class driver's licence, Senior First Aid, and Swimming Pool Operators certificate.
  • Proven skills in strategic planning, budgeting, facility coordination, and leadership development.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
