Coordinated Access Community Coordinator

The Coordinated Access Program Manager plays a vital role in the set-up, management, promotion, adoption, and ongoing development of a Coordinated Access initiative. This project brings together organizations serving individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to achieve community objectives.
Funded by a local entity, the Coordinated Access Program Manager serves as the secretariat to the Governance committee and works with stakeholders to examine and accomplish the objectives outlined in the Coordinated Access Guide.
Key Responsibilities- Governance Committee: Coordinate and regularly convene local governance committee meetings, ensuring representation and supporting decision-making processes.
- HIFIS Implementation and Compliance: Ensure implementation and compliance among primary users, build understanding and adoption among secondary users, and create visual materials to aid broader understanding and adoption.
- System Map (Creation and Maintenance): Create a system map of services for homeless/at-risk populations, setting up the map as a precursor to the Coordinated Access Shared Resources Inventory.
- Data Management, Analysis, and Sharing: Ensure policies and protocols for data privacy and safety, respond to data breaches, and create user guides to enhance data privacy and safety.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others. The ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary education, experience in housing or community development/community engagement, and proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs and applications.
