Water Industry Professional

Our organization is currently seeking a skilled Water Industry Professional to support various sewerage operations, maintenance and construction works.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the construction of water/wastewater mains, including the installation of new, replacement and interconnection works.
  • Carrying out repairs and water maintenance work, including scheduled maintenance of hydrants, valves, pumping stations, mains, and reservoirs.
  • Responding to emergency breakdown work as required.
  • Inspecting, maintaining and repairing sewer mains and pipes, manholes, water and wastewater pumping stations and fittings on truck mains.

Requirements:

  • Current class C Driver's Licence.
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa).
  • Ability to work well within a team, self-motivated, committed to learning and not afraid to get hands dirty.
  • Manual labour experience beneficial but not essential.
