Senior Community Lead Professional

We are seeking an experienced Community Liaison professional to manage stakeholder engagement within the Network business, establishing and maintaining landowner relationships and negotiating access and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain constructive landowner relationships, including access negotiations and compensation with affected stakeholders.
  • Ongoing liaison with community stakeholders, management of community complaints, and reporting of major issues.
  • Provide internal advice on external stakeholder considerations and restraints for project and operational planning.
  • Work with the enterprise community engagement function to create community engagement strategies and tactics.
  • Establish contact with landowners to negotiate access for required rail works.
  • Notification and liaison with neighbouring properties to advise of impacts of scheduled works.
  • Regular travel across Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Communications or relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience and success working in partnership with residents, industry groups, and community organisations.
  • High level of effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal corporate and external groups.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Willingness to commit to regular travel across Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN).
