We are currently seeking a customer service-oriented individual to work at our client's site as a Weighbridge Operator. This role reports to the Yard Manager and includes the following responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serving customers in a timely and professional manner upon arrival at the weighbridge.
  • Completing electronic funds transfer (EFT) transactions and cheque payments in accordance with the customer trading terms.
  • Maintaining all records in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Maintaining an organized office, including filing documents and managing records.
  • Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager.
  • Demonstrating commitment to occupational health and safety (OHS) policies.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Key Requirements:

  • Proven customer service skills, excellent communication and numeracy skills.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically data entry, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Friendly telephone manner.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

The following skills and experience are preferred but not essential:

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a Weighbridge role or similar position.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP programs.
