Project Administrator Role

The role of Project Administrator involves contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

This includes assisting the project leader in achieving project objectives, in accordance with established values.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for coordinating with the project leader to ensure the team is adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competency to deliver the project plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the production of documents that govern project delivery.
  • Ensure project plans align with project and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with the project leader to define roles and responsibilities for the team.
  • Compile and review accurate scopes of work for subcontracts.
  • Ensure all relevant project plans and requirements are included in subcontractor scopes of work and contracts.
  • Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Administer project management processes in compliance with project plans, contractual and legal conditions, time bars, and administrative timeframes.
  • Ensure proper use of Jobpac in administering the project.
  • Identify, assess and make detailed recommendations on any changes to approved project delivery plans.
About You
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in project administration delivering projects in the commercial sector.
  • Ability to problem-solve and respond appropriately to a range of project requirements.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Jobpac, Acconex and Payapps.
