Rural Campus Wellbeing Support Specialist

As a key member of the Rural Clinical Campuses team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, health and wellbeing needs through triage, assessment and short solutions-based therapy. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their overall wellbeing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
You will work closely with Faculty Wellbeing Officers, senior academic and professional staff at local Rural Clinical Campuses sites, as well as local services and other health professionals. Your liaison efforts will facilitate collaboration between UNSW Central Services, including Mental Health Connect, Psychology and Wellness, Equitable Learning Service and Student Support Team, and the UNSW Medicine and Health academic community. Your focus will be on providing positive wellbeing support and enhancing student outcomes.
Your Work Environment:
This 0.4FTE role requires you to work 2 days per week between Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday at Port Macquarie campus and travel to Coffs Harbour campus a minimum of once per month, and other times as required. You will report directly to the Manager, Rural Clinical Campuses and have no direct reports.
