
Senior Payroll Coordinator

This is a pivotal position that supports the Payroll Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring payroll services are delivered in line with agreed service measures and compliance standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Payroll Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring payroll services are delivered in line with agreed service measures and compliance standards.
- Act as a critical escalation point when required, responsible for resolving complex and emerging issues.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, provide high-level advice on payroll matters, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance service delivery.
- Analyse performance metrics, identify risks, and lead improvement projects to support a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
Required Competencies
- Relevant leadership experience in a high-volume transactional service delivery environment, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands and maintain personal resilience.
- Experience analysing and managing resource requirements and developing resource plans to support the achievement of team and organisational objectives.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, influencing, and relationship management skills across a broad range of stakeholder groups, including advising senior management on complex matters.
- Experience in establishing performance and development goals and objectives to maximise team performance and continuously improve operational efficiency.
