You'll join a passionate team driven by our dedication to creating a positive impact within our community.OverviewScouts SA is seeking a meticulous and organised individual to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator at our Head Office in Wayville.
This permanent part-time role, within the Shared Support department (People, Culture & Capability), offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of our organisation.
Ideally working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.ResponsibilitiesProcessing payroll accurately and efficiently for 250 employees across 4 business unitsMaintaining payroll information by collecting, approving and processing electronic timesheetsEnsuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll processingResponding to payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional mannerReconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepanciesMonthly Superannuation and RTW reconciliations and reportingPreparation of payroll reports for management reviewManagement of Master Rosters for employeesMaintain knowledge of the following Awards: Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations; Clerks—Private Sector; Amusement, Events and Recreation; Road Transport and Distribution; Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry; General Retail Industry; Hospitality Industry (General)Qualifications and SkillsProven experience in payroll processing and administrationSound knowledge of payroll systems and softwareFamiliarity with relevant employment legislation and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculationsStrong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlinesEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionExperience in handling queries from employees regarding payroll mattersProactive approach to problem-solving and process improvementSpecificationsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Part-timeJob function: Human ResourcesIndustries: Non-profit OrganizationsScouts SA is committed to providing a supportive work culture where your contributions are valued.
