Job Opportunity: Fleet Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Coordinator to oversee the coordination of FCL container movements across Brisbane and surrounding regions.

This role is ideal for someone with strong allocation experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Allocate trucks, including single trailers, doubles, and sideloaders.
  • Liaise effectively with drivers and booking staff.
  • Coordinate container movements across multiple locations.
  • Maintain Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance: speed limits, driving hours, fatigue management, vehicle/load mass & dimension compliance.
  • Manage and check container slot bookings and assign container numbers to relevant bookings.
  • Ensure timely de-hire of import empty containers to avoid penalties.
  • Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and data entry.
  • Approve driver timesheets and monitor time & attendance.
  • Optimize fleet operations and address over-mass or axle load issues.
  • Receive and coordinate vehicle fault reports with the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective communication and coordination with drivers and booking staff.
  • Timely and accurate completion of paperwork and data entry.
  • Approval of driver timesheets and monitoring of time & attendance.
  • Optimization of fleet operations and addressing over-mass or axle load issues.
  • Coordination of vehicle fault reports with the workshop.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years allocator experience.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
