Job Title:

Fleet Operations Manager

Join our dynamic team where you will play a key role in managing our local fleet.

This full-time position involves pre-planning, fleet allocation, and compliance oversight. You will be responsible for managing multiple priorities, taking initiative to solve challenges, and ensuring clarity in tasks and duties.

The Role:
  • Lead and Support Drivers: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of drivers to ensure optimal performance and high morale.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with operations, customer service, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
  • Problem Solving:Address on-the-road issues as they arise, ensuring timely solutions that minimize disruption.
  • Compliance and Safety:Support the team to ensure we all adhere to legal regulations and safety standards.
  • Customer Support:Communicating with internal and external customers to build relationships and ensure clarity around pick up or delivery requirements.
  • Hours:Rotating roster 1-month swings 6am - 2pm & 11:30am - 7:30pm

Qualifications:

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 1-year previous experience as a Fleet Controller or a similar role within the transport industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
