Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Vision: Define and communicate the strategic vision for employer solutions, aligning with the unique needs of superannuation and retirement funds.
  • Market Analysis: Identify market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and product development efforts.
  • Product Management: Lead the strategic and commercial management of MUFG Retirement Employer Solutions, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Product Innovation: Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the functionality, adoption, and competitiveness of employer solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define clear objectives, milestones, and success criteria for product initiatives, and track progress towards achieving them.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs and resources to promote effective utilization of employer solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, product teams, sales, and client services, to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
  • External Representation: Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, representing MUFG Retirement Solutions' financial tools and solutions portfolio and strategic direction.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution implementation and usage, implementing controls to safeguard client data and mitigate risks.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital / SaaS HR technology or employer solutions, preferably in the superannuation and retirement funds industry.
  • Vendor Management: 3-5 years of experience managing independent software vendor partners, supply agreements and joint go-to-market strategy and promotion.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Large-scale B2B2C and B2C SaaS web and mobile application production, delivery, and support experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and solution performance metrics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the superannuation and retirement funds industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Product Innovation: Proven track record of driving product innovation, adoption, and revenue growth in a similar industry context.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
