About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team of professionals who make a meaningful impact in the lives of people with disability.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours, using evidence-based support plans and positive behaviour support frameworks.

Your Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Evaluating and developing tailored support plans within complex support spaces
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies to reduce restrictive interventions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional outcomes for NDIS participants

You will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting NDIS participants, their families, and carers in identifying their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Providing kilometre reimbursement and other benefits to support your work
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework
  • Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability or mental health sector
  • Passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Commitment to person-centred practice and reducing restrictive interventions
