Role Overview

Seeking Behaviour Support Professionals to enhance lives of individuals with disabilities.

This role involves delivering person-centred services, conducting assessments and planning support for NDIS participants.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing evidence-based behaviour support plans and promoting the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build capacity in families, carers and support networks.

Act as a role model for best-practice service delivery and contribute to making a positive impact.

  • Provide behavioural support and guidance to adults and children in community settings.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised plans to address complex needs.
  • Design and implement behaviour support plans based on best available research and evidence.
  • Engage in proactive education and strategy development to eliminate restrictive practices.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers and support networks to empower individuals.
  • Model best practice service delivery and contribute to team success.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Experience working within the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to translate assessment findings into actionable plans.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance dynamic caseloads.
  • Proactive and solution-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
