About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Maintenance Coordinator to join our Townsville team on a permanent full-time basis. As a key member of our planning team, you will lead and coordinate the allocation and deployment of resources to ensure the successful delivery of both operational and capital work packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage installation, maintenance, and renewal activities within acceptable risk levels.
  • Provide effective and efficient coordination of required resources to meet defined work schedules.
  • Provide expert operational advice to the Asset Manager and Asset Planning Coordinator for the strategic development of asset management plans, corridor plans, schedules, and project submissions.
  • Coach and manage staff training, development, performance, succession planning, and recruitment in accordance with standards, specifications, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Achieve financial targets through effective management of costs for labor, inventory, consumables, plant, equipment, and other assets.
  • Manage inventory management processes for major infrastructure materials held in stock.
About You

You are a highly organized and resilient individual with experience leading a team. Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Australian Driver's License.
  • Experience supervising staff, work activities, and resources.
  • Experience in carrying out technical investigations, implementing improvement initiatives, undertaking audits, and monitoring performance.
  • Proficient in budget monitoring and control techniques, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Extensive experience in the coordination and deployment of resources.
  • Advanced financial management skills.
