Job Overview

The Korin Gamadji Programs Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of all Korin Gamadji programs. The incumbent will oversee program processes, curriculum, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure Korin Gamadji remains a trusted and effective leader in Indigenous youth development.

Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Program Leadership – Develop and implement high-quality programs that meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, ensuring cultural safety, child safeguarding, and responsible management practices.
  • Community Engagement & Partnerships – Foster strong relationships with community organizations, secondary schools, and Club partners, facilitating co-design and Indigenous-led initiatives.
  • Leadership & Management – Provide strategic guidance, lead team members, and support the development of junior staff, ensuring compliance with Club policies and procedures.
  • Reporting & Evaluation – Analyze program data, develop reports, and contribute to the Club's Reconciliation Action Plan, ensuring meaningful experiences and outcomes for participants.
  • Cultural Competency – Demonstrate a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and protocols, promoting respectful and inclusive practices throughout the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in program management, community development, or a related field, with a strong focus on Indigenous affairs.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of meeting competing demands and deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and cultural competency skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
