The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering advanced level practice to consumers in child and youth mental health, ensuring high-quality care and support.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments, interventions, plans, and evaluations for children aged 0-17 years old with severe and complex mental health problems or at risk of becoming so.
Requires demonstrated expertise in child, adolescent, and family mental health, crisis management, and contemporary therapeutic approaches.
- Develops strong communication skills to provide professional and flexible services that meet client needs.
- Able to collaborate and understand team members' needs, promote a learning environment, and contribute to others' learning.
- Effective self-management skills including time management, documentation, prioritization, and delegation.
Vaccination against certain vaccine preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
