Overview

Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician CN/HP4 Multi-D — multidisciplinary role within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service. The role delivers high level mental health services as a member of an acute response multi-disciplinary team or provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills in mental health assessment, treatment, crisis management and referral.

About The Role

In the role as Senior Mental Health Clinician you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework, Queensland Public Service and CHQ values. Your contribution will include: Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6.1 and the Queensland Health and CHQHHS commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.

Responsibilities
  • It is a requirement of the position that staff work on a continuous shift basis across Prince Charles Hospital Emergency and QCH Emergency Department.
