Role Overview

The Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician CN/HP4 Multi-D is a multidisciplinary position within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.

The role delivers high-level mental health services as a member of an acute response multi-disciplinary team or provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills in mental health assessment, treatment, crisis management, and referral.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and youth mental health, with expertise in delivering evidence-based care in innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6.1.
  • Contribute to the delivery of integrated, seamless care where the whole campus wraps around each young person, with no wrong door for accessing care.
  • Coach and support others to deliver for children, young people, and families in accordance with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework, Queensland Public Service, and CHQ values.
