- The Queensland Children's Hospital
- The Child and Youth Community Health Service

- Statewide services and programs, including specialist outreach and telehealth services
Your Opportunity: As a Child Mental Health Specialist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide competent mental health services to children and young people who have severe and complex mental health problems and disorders.
Services are provided in a variety of settings, including community clinics, schools and youth justice service centres. Travel may be required, as the service area encompasses south of Rockhampton to the border with NSW, and west to the borders with Northern Territory and South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide expert advice and guidance on mental health issues to staff and clients
- To assess and treat clients with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders
- To work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
