Child Youth Mental Health Specialist

As a Mental Health Clinician within the child and youth mental health service, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based mental health care tailored to children and young people experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a caseload efficiently while ensuring accurate patient records, reporting, and compliance with clinical and legislative standards.
- Conducting detailed clinical assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and supporting discharge planning in a collaborative, interprofessional team setting.
- Supervising and educating observational and undergraduate students, as well as allied health assistants.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to research activities under the guidance of senior staff.

Essential Requirements- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health assessments and interventions within a child and youth mental health setting.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and the capacity to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills.
