Lead Aged Care Nurse Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role in our residential aged care village. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents, while maintaining their dignity and focus on their health and wellbeing.

This is a key leadership position where you will:

  • Ensure that care plans meet the changing needs of residents
  • Supervise and assist other care employees to provide tailored care
  • Build partnerships with each resident, respecting their dignity and focusing on their health and wellbeing
  • Work within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care

You will also be responsible for providing complex clinical care, including wound dressing, medication administration, condition assessments, and referrals. Additionally, you will:

  • Evaluate and maintain care plans to meet changing needs of residents
  • Enter reports and observations on the computer program – iCare
About You
  • Must be a Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered
  • Have 2+ years previous experience in Aged Care (desirable)
  • Be proficient in computer skills and have working knowledge of iCare (desirable)
  • Have understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
  • Have knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation and ANACC (highly regarded)
  • Hold a Current First Aid Certificate
  • Have Valid police check clearance
  • Be eligible to work in Australia
