We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment, and have experience in an accredited General Practice setting. They will also have a caring and collaborative approach to patient care, a sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalism.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking vital signs, discussing symptoms, documenting health history, administering medications, and providing resources and information on how to manage medical issues at home.
- Collaborating with physicians and other staff to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Providing quality care to a diverse mix of patients through immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, ECGs, explaining procedures, assisting with care plans, telehealth consultations, and maintaining clinical documentation.
- Daily coordination of the treatment room, including stock control, sterilization, general maintenance, and care of medical instruments and equipment.
- Implementing and practicing infection control measures.
- Assisting with Reception and Practice Management duties.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
- A caring and collaborative approach to patient care.
- A sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalism.
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving, and time management skills.
- Use of Best Practice programs preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments.
- Current Police Check.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Current Working with Children clearance.
- Current First Aid/CPR certificate.
- Immunisation Record.
- Driving licences or photo ID.
