Job Title: Healthcare Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a vital member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across various settings, including aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver person-centered services that empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully. This involves assessing clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to understand their goals, creating tailored treatment plans, and providing hands-on support to help clients with self-care, work, and leisure activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop effective treatment plans
  • Deliver person-centered services that promote independence and daily living skills
  • Work closely with families, carers, and other health professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and sessions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration. You should also have excellent communication skills, proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

You will be primarily based at our Sinnamon Park or Chermside centers, with opportunities to work across other sites depending on client needs.
