Geriatrician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team at Ipswich Hospital. As a Geriatrician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including consultants, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for running ward rounds on our virtual ward, supported by a Staff Grade doctor or SpR, and may act as the clinical supervisor for the junior team.

As part of this role, you will also have scheduled time working in the Emergency Department as part of the FIT team, completing frailty assessments of patients at the front door. You will be required to cover 2 sessions per week while listed on the timetable, and may also hold the
