
Imaging Healthcare Professional

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and motivated individual who is completing a postgraduate diploma in medical ultrasound under the supervision of experienced sonographers.
They will be responsible for delivering medical imaging services commensurate with their training and experience, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
The role requires the application of increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the professional guidance of a senior clinician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medical imaging services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, local protocols, policies, procedures, and work-place instructions.
- Apply independent clinical judgement to make complex clinical decisions, guided by senior clinicians.

- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
- A tertiary degree qualification enabling enrolment in a Post Graduate Medical Ultrasound program accredited by the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Register.
