Job Role: Investigative Steward

An investigative steward plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with racing rules and promoting greyhound welfare by leading inquiries and investigations.

  • Carry out property and kennels inspections to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inquiries and investigations into potential or alleged breaches of compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or prepared to obtain this qualification within 12 months of appointment)
  • Advanced Diploma of Investigations, or similar related investigative experience
  • First aid & CPR certificate (or prepared to obtain this qualification within 12 months of appointment)
  • Diploma of Government Investigations, desirable
  • Victorian driver's licence

Work Environment:

This is a dynamic work environment that requires flexibility. The position involves a mix of day, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts based on the organisational needs. Some scheduled intrastate overnight travel is also required.

Benefits:

This position offers competitive pay, classified as grade x under the Stewards and Associated employees enterprise agreement 2020 - 2024. This includes a base salary and a tool of trade motor vehicle.
