Job Description

The Trainer Track Maintenance will play a crucial role in launching and maintaining a nationally accredited Certificate III in Racing Services training program.

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of greyhound racing in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and validation of innovative learning practices and delivery options to meet the needs of students and industry.
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance with the successful deployment of the Certificate III in Racing Services training program.
  • Develop project plans, training plans, and scheduling to achieve project completion and industry outcomes.
  • Implement learning and assessment strategies for the Certificate III in Racing Services in accordance with curriculum and national training packages.
  • Provide educational mentoring and counselling services to optimise student progress and retention.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Certificate III in Racing Services (or willingness to attain).
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box within a compliance framework.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in training and assessment and/or grounds maintenance/trades.
  • Understanding of ASQA compliance and AQTF standards.
  • Knowledge of GTO, AAC, and RTO partnerships.
