Job Description

The Greyhound Racing Integrity Unit (GRIU) is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the greyhound racing industry through transparent and fair conduct of racing. The Stewards Panel plays a key role in upholding this integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure race meetings are conducted in accordance with GRV policies and guidelines for participants
  • Investigate incidents and potential breaches of the Rules of Racing
  • Assist Prosecutions with cases heard at the Victorian Racing Tribunal and appeals at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience in coordinating the work of others and providing clear direction
  • A strong appreciation of the importance of rules and regulations
  • A Victorian driver's licence
  • A good understanding of the racing industry
  • Experience in race-day stewarding or transferrable skills of a similar nature
  • Sound MS Office skills and the ability to prepare standard reports
