The role of a Cadet Steward plays a vital part in ensuring the integrity and competitiveness of greyhound racing in Victoria.

About the Opportunity

This exciting two-year cadetship will provide an opportunity to gain invaluable experience and develop skills across various aspects of the Integrity and Racing system, including:

  • Stewarding responsibilities
  • Investigations and inquiries
  • Sampling procedures
  • Grading techniques
  • Member services delivery

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work flexibly with a combination of day, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts established by the GRV race meeting schedule.

About You

The key requirements include:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A thorough understanding of the importance of rules and regulations
  • A valid Victorian driver's license
  • A strong interest in the greyhound racing industry
  • Proficient MS Office skills with the ability to prepare standard reports
