Regulatory Governance and Compliance Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Stewards Panel.

The primary purpose of this role is to uphold the integrity of the greyhound racing industry in Victoria by ensuring that race meetings are conducted in accordance with the Rules of Racing and relevant policies and guidelines for participants.

This includes investigating incidents and potential breaches of the Rules of Racing, as well as assisting with cases heard at the Victorian Racing Tribunal and appeals at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

About You
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating the work of others and providing clear direction to ensure efficient operations.
  • A strong appreciation of the importance of rules and regulations in maintaining a fair and transparent racing environment.
  • A valid Victorian driver's licence is required for this role.
  • A good understanding of the racing industry would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in race-day stewarding or transferrable skills of a similar nature would be highly regarded.
